Within the last years, we have seen a fast development of new digital projection technologies for different fields of application. The integration of a digital projection system into a dome theater in a way to achieve sharp, high contrast and bright fulldome images is a challenge for the modern planetarium.

ZEISS offers multichannel projection solutions from a selection of different video projectors on the market for all dome sizes. Every projector type has been tested for suitability for dome projection.

These systems are called powerdome®SPACEGATE Nova, and will be customized to meet special requirements of the user, the dome and the architecture.

For simulating a brilliant starry sky, SPACEGATE Nova systems can be combined with one of the ZEISS range of optical-mechanical projectors.
